Bachata in Washington Dc
USA
Bachata in Washington DC runs seven weekly socials across six venues. Friday and Saturday are the busiest nights, with two parties each. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday cover the rest of the week, so you can dance five days out of seven. Most nights happen in Latin bars and restaurant lounges around downtown and Dupont Circle, and several floors mix bachata with salsa (8 salsa events run in the same city). Sensual and Dominican styles both show up depending on the room. Many parties start with a short beginner class before the social. Coming alone is normal here, and locals rotate partners from the first song. Four zouk socials round out the weekly Latin dance scene.
