Salsa in Malmo

Salsa in Malmö gives you 5 events a week, and all 5 are weekly socials. Thursday is the busiest night with 2 parties, so plan your main dance around it. Sunday, Tuesday and Saturday each add one more social, which means you can dance four days out of seven. Socials run in hotel ballrooms, community halls and beachside spots by the harbor, and in summer some move outdoors near Västra Hamnen. The scene is small but steady, and most floors mix salsa with bachata, since 5 bachata socials run in the same city and one kizomba night joins them. Coming alone is normal here, and people rotate partners from the first song. Many socials open with a short beginner class before free dancing starts.
