Baila Thursdays at La Cosecha is a twice-monthly salsa social staged inside Union Market’s Latin marketplace, an open-plan food hall with vendor stalls, a central open area and outdoor seating rather than a traditional ballroom. Run by Baila DC, the night routinely draws hundreds of dancers into that shared public space; La Cosecha’s Thursday hours extend to midnight, so the social runs late into the evening.
Entry is ticketed: Baila DC raised social tickets from $10 to $15 and offers a 6-social punch pass that preserves the $10 rate through the end of 2026. Baila DC also runs five levels of On2 classes, so expect a mixed-skill crowd and a studio-to-social flow, many people come after a class or warm-up. The dance area is part of the market floor, so it’s not a sprung wooden ballroom; plan for a busy, informal floor with vendor traffic nearby and casual dress.
